Evalutation.

In workshops I have been made more aware and encouraged to use different methods of image making. And that paying attention to detail is key.

I have not really learnt anything new, as far as i know, within the research aspect of designing. It was more a case of putting to practice what I already knew and seeing what areas i need to improve on.

I think my presentation has improved, i made a point of trying to present more work more professionally and neatly. I think my in the life of brief is the strongest section of work, towards the end i really got into it. However, i am not entirely convinced if my flick book is entirely successful, but i think this is because there are things that i did not identify, such as audience.

I think i could have been a bit more motivated within this module, and i think that this shows. However, towards the end i got more into it and i think that this becomes clear.

Next time, after classes i would develop each piece futher, not leave it all towards the end and set a bit of time aside each week to this module. However, for a 10 credit module i think that this is satisfactory, but for myself I would have liked to do more work and hopefully improve upon my final piece. I did not exploit my ideas to the fullest.

Eye Chart.

Final Piece.

Concept - a day in the life of David Beckham. Done in the style of a flick book, you see him through the eyes of the paparazzi. The events are quite superficial. Towards the end of the book the images get more detailed as he goes into his home.

Final Piece.

When I gave the flick book to someone else this is how they viewed it.. the quality of this video is not brilliant, i will look at hiring one out for a day so i can do a bit of really good video work to present my piece.
